Frequently Asked Questions
Cast vinyl is made by casting liquid vinyl onto a moving belt, producing a thinner, more conformable film with 5-year outdoor durability. It conforms well to complex curves and is the professional standard for vehicle wraps and body decals. Calendered vinyl is made by running vinyl through rollers — it's thicker, less conformable, and rated for 3 years outdoors, but is more economical for flat surfaces and short-term applications. For vehicle body decals and long-term use, we recommend cast vinyl. For flat window stickers and short campaigns, calendered is fine.
Yes. Our permanent automotive-grade adhesive is designed to bond securely to vehicle paint without damaging it upon removal — as long as the paint surface is in good condition and the decal is removed properly (heat gun + slow peel at low angle). We also offer removable adhesive variants that leave even less residue. Avoid applying decals to freshly painted surfaces that haven't fully cured (minimum 30 days after painting).
Yes. Our perforated window film is printed on one side and uses a micro-hole pattern (usually 50/50) that allows visibility from inside the vehicle while displaying full graphics from outside. This is popular for rear window branding on commercial vehicles, taxis, buses, and retail storefronts. Visibility ratio can be customized (60/40 or 70/30) to balance graphic impact and interior light transmission.
For best results, provide vector artwork (Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps) with all fonts outlined. If you only have a raster image, it should be at least 300 DPI at final print size. For large-format decals (above 500mm), 150 DPI at size is acceptable. Provide a minimum 5mm bleed around the artwork and indicate cut lines clearly. Our pre-press team will review your file and flag any issues before printing.
